Meet Gretchen, Head Photographer

Hey, friends! My name is Gretchen Hunt, the girl behind the camera and your trusted storyteller. I am here to capture the moments that matter most to you, and create timeless images during the process!!

My whole life, I have been interested in photography and the wedding industry in general. Starting in High school when I got introduced to my first true DSLR camera, it stayed attached to my hip, which hasn’t changed since. I specialize in destination and local weddings, elopements, and seniors, but I truly just love working with people who energize me and help me grow the passion I have for what I do! I’ve always had a down-to-earth and easy-going approach to life, and I believe that carries over into my photography style. I believe the most beautiful photos are often the ones that weren’t planned but simply happen.

My favorite coffee shop in MN is hands down five-watt. You can find me there at least twice a week, and I frequently stop there before weddings if I can!!

I love documenting sweet moments via Polaroid camera. I always bring one with me and often have it swinging from my bag on a wedding day :^)

I have a MAJOR sweet tooth that can’t be stopped. My first word as a baby was ‘cookie’ and to this day that is my all-time favorite food item.

  • I have lived in over 10 houses and counting! Growing up my family moved houses basically every year. I am as adaptable as they come! :)

  • I have over 70 Spotify playlists and counting… Spotify rules Apple music drools :^)

  • I love thrifting! Over half of my closet is second hand and I used to have a thrift account in college with my freshman roomie. You can often catch me in a thrifted crewneck.

  • I loveeeee me a Poppi. If you don’t know what I am talking about, you are missing out. Nothing better than a late-night Poppi in a wine glass!!

  • I love traveling! Any excuse to hop on a flight, I am there. So grateful to have a job where traveling is part of the gig!
